Our Staff

Dr Nirmal Singh Grewal, MBBS, owns the clinic. He works between his three practices and the emergency department of hospitals. His special interests include occupational and men’s health, stress management and emergency medicine. He enjoys travel and watching the footy and cricket.

Dr Malcolm Miller, MBBS FRACGP, is one of our regular visiting Doctors. Since joining us in 2016, he has become an integral member of our team and is dedicated to the community of Roxby Downs. His special interests include Men’s Health and Obstetric Shared Care.

Dr Neelochani Kutiserage, MD, is our newest female doctor in Roxby Downs, having joined our team in 2023. She comes from a background in general practice, emergency medicine, and anaesthetics.

Cassie Yau is our Registered Practice Nurse. Cassie is proficient in pathology, immunisation, minor procedures, and chronic disease care, she delivers comprehensive patient support. Cassie is furthering her expertise through ongoing training in immunisation and cervical screening.

Molly Wright is our Enrolled Practice Nurse who brings much experience in general practice nursing and is currently studying to become a Registered Nurse. Molly is a valued member of our team.

Shona Akbar is an EN assisting doctors with immunisations, care plans, pre-employment medicals, procedures and pathology. She is currently studying registered nursing and undertaking an immunisations course. She has a special interest in emergency surgery and paediatrics.

Linda Evans has been a valued member of our team for several years. She is a long-term local and passionate about her family and the community.

Sharron Brodie is one of our receptionists who has recently moved to Roxby Downs to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Since joining us she has enjoyed the welcoming, family-friendly working environment.

Teeharna Tapscott is part of our reception team. She has a strong focus in health care and is currently studying to be a Registered Nurse.

Teresa Hodgetts is our head clinical administrator and has been working with us since early 2016. Teresa previously worked as a Practice Manager at a clinic in Mount Isa and has brought knowledge and experience and a focus in occupational health.

Darragh Whelan is our assistant Practice Manager and has been working for the company since 2013. Her favourite thing about her role is supporting her wonderful team, problem solving, organisation and implementing new processes and procedures.
